The Hospital Care Assurance Program (HCAP) is the State of Ohio's Medicaid disproportionate share program. This site is intended to provide a comprehensive source of information relating to HCAP. HCAP Distribution 2007

HCAP Model Released. On 8/23/2007, ODJFS released the Final HCAP Model for 2007. Assessments are scheduled to be made on August 30, 2007 and September 17, 2007 while distributions are scheduled to be made on September 10 and September 30, 2007

Cost Report Filings

Medicare Cost Report is due 150 days (5 Months) after the end of the hospital fiscal year.
Ohio Medicaid Cost Reports are due 30 days after the Medicare Cost Report is due.
